Peter Witte is a writer and visual artist. His work has been featured in a variety of literary magazines and journals including The SunThe Threepenny Review, Tin House OnlineHobart Online, and The Rumpus. He teaches writing at the University of Maryland. In the past he has been a submissions reader for PANK, an editor of web interviews for BULL, a housing policy researcher, an urban planner, and an old school basketball player. Originally from Illinois, he currently lives in University Park, Maryland, with his wife, a philosopher, their two children, and Jasper, a handsome schnauzer-poodle mix and champion ball fetcher.
